UNILAG HOSTEL APPLICATION AND ALLOCATION: UPDATED INFORMATION OF SUSPENSION OF THE EXERCISE!!! 21/01/14
We are glad to inform you that the Time-Table for 2013/2014 Online Allocation of Bed Spaces in undergraduate halls of residence. UNILAG has been released and is as follows:
Firstly,Sales of Hostel card will commence on Monday 20th of January,2014.
Secondly,there are 5-Categories for online Application which include the following:
1.Online Application for Category of Scholars(4.5 and above) and Final year Students will commence on the 20th of January,2014 to Friday,24 January,2014. With the duration of 5-Days.
.2.Online Application for Biological Children of Staff will commence on Monday,27th of January,2014 to Friday,31st of January,2014 with the duration of 5-Days.
3.Online Hostel Application for Fresh Students will commence on Monday,3rd of February,2014 to Friday,7th of February,2014 with the duration of 5-days.
4.Online Application for Health cases and and sports men will commence on Monday,10th of February,2014 to Friday,15th of February,2014 with the duration of 5-Days.
5.Ballot request to commence on Monday,24th of February,2014. To Tuesday 25th of february,2014.With the duration of 2-Days.
Individual students applicants will obtain Hostel Application scratch cards from designated banks, GTB and Eco Bank and be granted access to log-in and download allocation docket to be presented at the bank for payment. All applicants are expected to make payment latest two-weeks from the date of the online registration(this will be indicated on the print-out after which allocation will lapse.There will be NO EXTENSION Of dates for all categories.Lobbying for changes or rectification of lapses in allocations would not be entertained.
You can see time is short, so if you're a fresher medico or any other student in UNILAG, hurry and get your hostel allocation scratch card and apply. Cheers!!! Share with your friends in Akoka. UPDATE:21/01/14::: INFORMATION REACHING US INDICATES THAT THE HOSTEL APPLICATION AND ALLOCATION EXERCISE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED, WE DO NOT KNOW WHY AND WHEN IT WILL RESUME, But we recall that similar situations always occur in the past. Please let us know if you have more information.

I want a good hostel, which one is good and how will I get it?
ReplyDeleteI don't know any bad hostel in unilag o. You're not allowed to select except you buy or exchange bed space which is illegal. Just pray for a convenient hostel, close to your faculty, good roommates and good toilets 😁.

ReplyDeleteUNILAG DSA will resume the sale of hostel application card and the allocation exercise very soon. Probably immediately after exams. We don't know when exactly but keep in touch, we'll be the first to update you when it is out.
DeleteAre they still going to sell the cards again? And when? And those who have bought, can they register theirs now?(Final year students) becus of d dates there. Or has it all been suspended?
ReplyDeleteWhen the 2014 hostel allocation exercise resumes, the sale of the application card should be continued. When the allocation resumes, there should be a new timetable for it.

DeleteI seem rather confused about this accommodation thing. I just got so upbeat about the whole issue blaming myself for being so slack and now I am being made to believe that it has been postponed after enough knocks from my sponsor. I do appreciate your help but are you saying I am rest assured of its suspension? if this is true its good news (I hope).

I have an issue though. i am thru wt all registration processes save for the submission of faculty file. this is cos of the fact that i am yet to fill n print course form online. wen i tried to the portal seem to have been closed. pls i hope i have not goofed though i was told dat it'll be opened again soon.
