A trap, a poem by Joshua Idowu


Filled with pleasure!
A trap for Leisure!
King David couldn't resist
but he did persist
So inviting

the savour is so commanding
a trap filled with Sin
to fall is as easy as picking a pin
How dangerous!
Certainly not Prosperous!
Oh LORD keep my weary soul from falling.
Help me to start running
help me to start burning
I lift myself to you LORD
Let me encounter your Mercy Oh Lord God.
